英语毕业典礼演讲稿篇1

dear faculty members, distinguished guests, families, friends and most importantly, today’s graduates:

good morning!

thank you for giving me the opportunity to speak to you here on behalf of the graduates. this is a memorable day both in our personal lives and in the life of this school.

four years ago, we entered sanjing university. some of us may have doubted that if we had made the right decision, but now, because of the friends we made , because of the sadness and happiness we shared, because of the teachers who gave us guidance, because of all the time in sanjiang we spent and all activities we participated in, we could not tear ourselves away from the dear campus. it’s difficult to contemplate that perhaps some of us may never see each other again. but we have so rich memeries and experiences that we will never foget each other.

today we enter the real world to face the challenge .with the knowledge and friends we gained from our university, with the endurance, perseverance, industry we possess, every obstacle that we may encounter in our lives will be overcome. i believe that everyone will make every effort to strive for our life. and remember, an ideal job is not found lying in the street; it takes time and effort to find. but in the end, it will be there for you. so don’t settle for second best and keep looking.

importantly, we are here today to give our thanks to the unconditional support of each of you, your words of encouragement in good times and your words of consolation in difficult moments. we thank you for your enormous patience with us, for always giving a little more than we asked for and for instilling in us the values and principles that govern our lives now and helping us to become the people we are. the degree that we will receive today also belongs to you.

last, i would like to congratulate each of you for having reached this goal. we did it, and now we are ready to graduate!

members of the class of 20xx, stanford faculty and staff, former and current trustees of our university, government officials, distinguished guests, and cherished family members and friends:

i thank you for joining us on this very special day to celebrate stanford’s 128th commencement. it’s my great honor to warmly welcome all of you.

to all those who are receiving degrees today, i offer a very special welcome:

our senior class members and our graduate students – congratulations to each and every one of you. today, we celebrate your accomplishments during your time at stanford, and we look ahead with anticipation that everything you will do next.

now we gather this weekend in joy and celebration. but as we do, we are also thinking of those in our community who have left us this year – including, tragically, within the last few days.

the loss of any member of our stanford community is a loss to all of us.

and so, as we begin this morning’s program, i’d like us to take a moment to acknowledge their passing and to reflect on how they have enriched our lives.

please join me in a moment of silence.

thank you.

dear teachers and students

hello everyone!

the years are in a hurry, and the flowers are blooming and falling. in a twinkling of an eye, the words of six years of primary school students have passed like clouds. however, my heart is still very attached to my alma mater. after six years of primary school life, i can usher in a strange school gate.

here, many memories are clearly reflected in my mind. from the first day of the first grade, i came to this mysterious and strange campus. day by day in the past, the blink of an eye to the second grade. once, my friends and i were chasing each other on the playground. we were very happy. without waiting to be happy, a sudden pain happened to me. there was a classmate who stretched out his foot, but at that time i was still completely immersed in the game. one of them didnt pay attention and was knocked down. but because of my confusion, half of my face fell out of blood, just like the face was destroyed. at that time, the players were stunned and dull for two seconds before they realized that i was wrestling. some of my friends wipe my face with paper towel while walking, while others hold me, showing great concern and anxiety in their eyes. at that time, my tears have been spinning in my eyes, moving tears have been flowing down.

i still remember that when i held the sports meeting, i chose two events, both of which were running, but i was just making trouble. i ran the 100 meter race first, and i came last. i was very discouraged, but the teacher came to comfort me and encouraged me all the time. one day later, it was my 200 meter run, and i was the last runner. the teacher not only didnt say that i was useless, but also encouraged me all the time, saying that you will get good results in the next race. i also want to get good grades very much. im born without motor cells. no matter how i practice, i cant even get up. in sports, i may be a dou that i cant help.

goodbye, dear alma mater, the past events in your arms are still fresh in my mind. they are the shining pearls in our memory warehouse; in your arms, we become sensible from ignorance; in your arms, we grow from childish to mature; in your arms, we have changed from timidity to bravery. dear students, please remember that we are together bit by bit, day and night, let our friendship last forever.

good morning, ladies and gentlemen. i'm eden, i'm 9 years y, i'm going to tell you about my first special memory. it wasunforgettable, because it was my first flying on a plane.

when i got on the huge, white thing with two big ‘fans’, i was so scared. i was thinking what if the big thing couldn’t balance itself? what if in the middle of the trip, the airplane ran out of oil? what if the airplane crashed onto the ground when it landed? i was scared that i would falldown and smash into pieces!

just then, the plane started to take off, and my ear started tohurt as , i closed my eyes for a long long time. what a surprise! wheni woke up, i didn't smash into pieces, and neither did i have an ear , i looked outside the window. how amazing it was!

the sun was orange, and all the cloud turning into golden color, just like the toasted marshmallows and chicken. i could still rememberthat they looked very tasty and inviting! furthermore, there were the golden lions, dancing bears, and more, just like the cloud zoo! i couldn’t take my eyes offthose impressive views, but it was time to land.

never would i forget my first amazing flight, my first specialmemory! from then on, i was not afraid of flight any more, instead, i enjoyedhaving the trip in the sky. thank you!

my dear mr. and misses, my fellows schoolmates,

good morning! as you know and see, it is a sunny bump harvest season. in the city, in our school campus, everywhere is surrounded with roses which we together planted 4 years ago. today may these roses and our friendship as well be together and comfort our excited hearts!

it was four years ago that everyone of us came from every part of china and formed a new collective. as we are young, it’s very easy for us to communicate. it was in the past four years that we were ambitious. it was in the past four years that we worried. it was in the past four years that we were content. it was in the past four years that we were vexed. it was in the past four years that we were friendly and lonely ... and it was in the past fours that we studied, lived and respected each other with genuine and with our ambitions. nothing in the world is more significant than we miss all of these.

we miss you─teachers who are tireless in teaching; we will keep your gestures and your white hairs in our hearts deeply; we will miss the quietness with the lights at night in the classroom; we will miss the race and exercise on the playground; we will miss even the crowds in the dining hall and the quarrel on the beds; we will still miss every green piece and every piece of waste paper flying like flakes in the air ... however, today we will leave nothing but the first rose with our alma mater and our teachers which is entrusted with our love and respect.

4 years seems very long but 4 years seems very short. from now on, we all will go into the society. the society is broad and wide for us. we will shoulder heavy responsibilities; we will work diligently; and we will expect to be informed of good news from one another. now, i beg you all to cherish the occasion; to remember the names, the status, appearance and the character of the person around you. now let’s be hand in hand together; let’s present the rose to each other. may the rose carry our appreciation and blessing! we are very closely linked no matter what the world may be. may the fresh rose in our hands keep its fragrants!

thank you all again!
